What I Wore

Lingerie Inspired Fashion

Showing a hint of what’s underneath your clothing is always alluring. Wearing under things as actual clothing has become the norm in fashion. Making the transition from under garment to an actual wearable outfit piece is a matter of the mind. For starters you have to get over the idea of these garments being exclusively worn under your clothing. Once you can let that go, you can create a similar look with ease.

I wore these  Berkshire Legs tights with exposed garters for an edgier look. Believe it or not these are the most comfortable tights I have ever worn. They also stayed in place all day! BL offers a wide assortment of tights for various occasions. If you follow me on Instagram – you can see me wearing polka dot tights from Berkshire Legs from this past weekend.

Thigh highs and garter belts aren’t for the faint of heart.  You can begin with a less daring look. Try wearing a camisole under a blazer or with a tee and jeans for a casual look. A slip dress worn with a wrap sweater can yield romantic feel.

Here is a little inspiration to get you started.
