Wedding Registry Picks @ Pottery Barn

Over the weekend my future hubby and I headed over to Pottery Barn to create our wedding registry. Though this is the digital age, rather than completing our registry online, we chose to shop in store. Being there made the experience more exciting. Being able to see the pieces in person and to touch them made it feel so much more real.

Adam and I currently live in cozy but small apartment. The thought of having more stuff in our already packed apartment kind of fills us with anxiety. Initially, we were stumped when it came to starting our registry. Luckily, The Knot has a comprehensive wedding registry checklist to help soon-to-be married couples strategize on selecting items for their wedding registries. Who knew that one needs so much dinnerware and wine glasses?!

As we were browsing it was interesting to see that we liked a lot of the same pieces. Collectively our style is eclectic. Adam likes pieces that are classic, while I gravitate towards funkier decor. However; I was surprised to see that I was drawn to simplistic designs. The whole experience had me excited about one day owning our own home and filling it with beautiful furnishings.

These are some of our favorite picks at Pottery Barn… or at least the pieces I remembered to photograph. These are great wedding/ bridal shower gifts (or gifts for any occasion).

Hey married ladies out there, what were some of your favorite wedding/ bridal shower gifts that you received?
