Tips on How to Make Your Style Look More Expensive

I’m not a snob when it comes to where I purchase my clothing. While I try to buy more quality pieces, I still love a deal. Mixing pieces of varying price-points is a great way to make seemingly cheap clothing look expensive. Here a few other tips and tricks to help you cheat a more expensive look.

Designer Collabs. Super stores like Kohl’s and Target have created amazing collaborations with designer brands. Shopping designer collaborations is a great way to get your hands on fabulous threads without paying top dollar.

Sole to Sole. A new pair of shoes can make any outfit feel like new. If you’re  a city girl like me, the best part about living in the city is that everything is conveniently located within walking distance. It only makes sense to spend a little more to make sure you’re getting around town in style and comfortably. That being said, stores like DSW, Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack offer a wide array of gorgeous shoes for any budget. You will not leave these stores disappointed or empty-handed.

Keep it Simple. Streamlining your look can make more of an impact in your overall style.  Skip the frills and go with simple silhouettes and clean lines. This will create a sleeker look and feel more expensive.  Your jewelry and accessories can be the statement making embellishments for your look.
