One thing that I love more than a sale is an End of Season Sale! This is a great opportunity to stock up for next Summer and with some clever configuring these pieces can be worn during the Fall. This is especially true since retailers stay ahead of the seasons and will have items that you can wear going into the upcoming season. This is also a great time to start (dare I say it) making some headway on your Christmas shopping.
When I shop I always make a b-line to the sales racks before browsing the rest of a store. Unless it’s an item that I really really want, I will patiently wait a few weeks until it is on sale. I try to stay abreast of the new styles, but buying a top, dress or jacket for 60% off doesn’t make it less fashionable.
This outfit was a big score during a couple mid-end of season sales. I had been eyeing these gladiator sandals for a while and got them for an incredibly low price; which I’m proud of. I was on the fence about buying gladiator sandals though. However; I’ve been intrigued by the style, so I decided to take the leap and buy these pretties. I need to nail down a good way to lace them up to prevent them from sliding down my leg. Aside from that, I am in love with these shoes 🙂
Before you head to the shops make sure you compare deals. Some stores will have similar deals but if you are patient you can come across the mother lode of all sales. Also, take a moment to review return policies just in case…It’s best to know specifically what you are looking for. You don’t want to carelessly spend simply because a store is having a sale. Shopping end of season sales can test your savvy shopping skills. Just be prepared and stay on task. You will be guaranteed to have a successful shopping trip.
