What I Wore

Oh Snap… I must have that Shirt!

I’m not usually a compulsive shopper, except for when it comes to shopping vintage. As you would expect, I do a fair amount of shopping online. Though it’s not as gratifying as buying something while being physically in a store. Shopping online really makes me mull over whether or not I should purchase an item. I feel less pressure to make a decision on the spot. Usually I’ll bookmark something I like, think about it and go back to it if I want to move forward with the purchase. When I’m at a stote; it’s a whole different playing field… I can fret for a good while over whether I’m going to buy an item. There are a few things that are factored into the decision-making process.

Is the item of good value/ quality?

Is this something that I absolutely need?

Can I find a similar style somewhere else for a better price?

How many times am I likely to wear the item?

Do I have shoes and accessories that I can coordinate with the item?

Will I regret not purchasing the item now?

I like to think that everyone has a similar vetting process; but I know myself and being true to my Libra nature…I know that can be pretty pensive – or (let’s not beat around the bush) just downright indecisive. I hate that word! It sounds so negative – but I don’t think there is anything wrong with being a smart shopper.

There are those instances when I get excited about the possibility of acquiring a shirt, dress or whatever and I say to myself “Oh snap- I must have that!” That’s the most exciting shopping experience. I live for those moments! Let’s face it, we see a lot of the same thing across retailers. It’s hard to always get excited in those moments when you’re shopping. It feels like any other ordinary time you are browsing the racks at a retailer but the oh snap moments are much more fulfilling.

I had an oh snap moment when I saw this shirt. It’s very clever timing the production of this particular design on Wicked Clothing’s part. This shirt packs an empowering message and incites conversation. It also looks really cute on me 🙂

You can find this shirt here along with other awesome options.

Hey hun. loving the statement tee and the shoes are killer 🙂

I love the points you made on Online shopping. I am very the same. I generally only try to shop online with brands I know my sizing of like the back of my hand. It’s all a bit of a trial run but you can work it once you know where to shop 😉

    Great post lovely <3

Thanks Sammy! You’ve expressed some good points too 🙂 No matter what, it’s always a bit of a gamble when shopping online.
